Lime OG vs OG Kush

OG Kush is the Florida-rooted hybrid behind the "OG" name; Lime OG reaches it only indirectly, through its Triple OG father in the Exotic Genetix cross and through Triangle Kush, a Florida indica also called Triangle OG, in Grounded’s.^1,2,3,4 Leafly users call OG Kush hungry, relaxed and sleepy, where Lime OG reads as tingly and focused, and OG Kush tests about the same in state labs: 20.87% median THC against 20.28% for Lime OG, from only 29 tests, a small sample.^1,5

Where the OG comes in

Lime OG is not an OG Kush cross by any account. On the Exotic Genetix side the "OG" is Triple OG, whose parents Leafly calls unknown and SeedFinder gives as Triangle Kush × Constantine × Master Yoda; on the Grounded side it is Triangle Kush, which Leafly describes as a Florida indica also known as Triangle OG and OG Triangle.^3,9,10 OG Kush itself, Leafly says, was first grown in Florida in the early 1990s.¹
